As far as theatre is concerned, Škandíková frequently works with directors Daniel Špinar, Matija Solce or Veronika Riedlbauchová. She has designed scenography for many productions throughout the Czech Republic and abroad (Slovenia, Estonia). Her stage design can be currently seen in drama productions of the National Theatre (Pride and Prejudice 2016, Manon Lescaut 2016, Frailty, Thy Name is Woman 2017). She also works for alternative theatre companies: she has designed scenography for Farm in the Cave’s Disconnected (2016) and Whistleblowers (2014), she and artist Petra Vlachenská also designed scenography for Tantehorse’s project Dante – Light in A Darkness (2009) – physical mime theatre. Lucie Škandíková’s costume work also concerns highly-regarded productions of Hamlet (Švanda Theatre, 2013) or Velvet Havel (Theatre on the Balustrade, 2014). Lucie Škandíková graduated from the Theatre Faculty, Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, she specialized in Costume and Mask under Professor Jana Zbořilová. She also studied six months at Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.
