The international fair and festival CINARS is the most important event in North America, where dance, contemporary circus, theatre and music professionals, promoters, and programmers from all around the world meet to exchange their experience in performing arts, make new contacts, or find international partners for their new projects. The CINARS fair was founded in Montreal for performing arts producers back in 1984. The event is regularly attended by delegates from Europe, North and South America, and Asia. The Arts and Theatre Institute has regularly participated with the representation booth since 2014.
Despite the fact that CINARS’ 19th Biennale cannot take place in its usual format this year, we have sought to maintain an international conference for the performing arts in its virtual form: CINARS Web 2021. This online and fully customized event will offer opportunities to dialogue, debate, and especially gather during four days of coming together, celebrating creativity and partaking in networking activities. The official program will feature short videos from performances, discussions with artists and one-to-one interviews, which allows for the discovery of new local and international projects. CINARS Web 2021 is a professional gathering and offers the opportunity to maintain and expand your contacts. It will be offering several conferences and round table discussions dedicated to various territories to discover new emerging trends. The virtual conference will make it possible to walk in the virtual exhibition hall, as well as have targeted and customized professional meetings. As a brand-new feature for 2021, a speed-networking system will also be available, facilitating new encounters.
The following artists and companies will be virtually present at the CINARS fair: Filip Zahradnický, MansterVille, Eliška Brtnická, Holektiv, Cirkus TeTy, Alžběta Tichá, Johnny a Jenny, Ondřej Holba, Squadra Sua, The Trick Brothers, Viktor Černický, Balancealots, Blackout Paradox, Loser(s) Cirque Company, Cirk La Putyka, Stárková Blaha Menoušek, CIRQUEON – Centre for Contemporary Circus and International festival of contemporary circus and theatre Letní Letná.
