Dramaturges, artistic directors, cultural managers, critics, researchers, artists and other professionals active in the field of puppet theatre and performing arts for children and young people are invited to take part in the PQ+ & Visitors´ Program of Puppet Theatre and Theatre for Children and Young People. The program will take within the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space on June 12-17, 2023 and is organized by the PerformCzech team based in the Arts and Theatre Institute in Prague and in collaboration with Prague Quadrennial, Czech ASSITEJ and UNIMA Centres and the Mateřinka Festival for Pre-School Children in Liberec.
Free accommodation, local transport to venues out of Prague and tickets for shows & accompanying program will be provided for a limited number of participants. You can expect to see Czech puppet theatre productions and performances for children (with English surtitles), to take part in the largest performance design festival in the world and to share best practices, exchange contacts and initiate cooperation with Czech and international professionals.
